Sports News: Indian cricketer Rinku Singh, who did not get a chance to bat for India till the Asia Cup final, made sure to finish the tournament in style by scoring the winning runs and helping India retain the continental trophy. The Kolkata Knight Riders star has been part of the Indian T20I team for a while and even travelled as a reserve player when India lifted the World T20 title in 2024. Rinku Singh is now all set to travel Australia for a five-match T20I series.

Rinku’s Special Gift to His Sister

Recently, Rinku Singh gifted his sister a brand-new electric scooter. The Indian left-hander, who gained massive attention after sealing India’s Asia Cup 2025 victory, surprised his sister Neha with a red Vida VX2 Plus scooter worth nearly ₹1 lakh. The gesture won the hearts of fans on social media. Neha shared photos and videos of the scooter on Instagram and captioned them, “Thank you Rinku Bhaiya.” Interestingly, Rinku had once expressed his dream of hitting the winning shot for India in the Asia Cup—and he did exactly that. After the final, Rinku said, “Nothing else matters. This one ball mattered. One was needed. I hit it for a four. Everyone knows I am a finisher. The team won and I am really happy.”

Veena Palace in Aligarh

In November 2024, Rinku Singh also purchased a lavish three-storey bungalow in Aligarh and named it “Veena Palace” in honour of his mother. The young cricketer’s success story continues to inspire many fans.

Rinku’s Impressive Career Numbers

So far, Rinku has represented India in 54 T20I matches, scoring 550 runs with a strong average of 42.31 and a striking rate of 161.77. In the Indian Premier League, he has played 58 games for Kolkata Knight Riders, scoring 1,099 runs. Rinku was also an important member of KKR’s 2024 IPL title-winning squad.
